Dental Pulp Vitality Tester Denjoy DY310 is a handheld, battery-powered dental diagnostic device that identifies a living tooth nerve by stimulating it with a weak electric current. When the operator depresses the button, the strength of the electrical stimulus automatically increases at a rate preset by the operator. The unique waveform is designed to trigger a patient response in a vital nerve with a minimal amount of discomfort. The durable, shaped case makes the unit comfortable to handle, as well as being easy to wipe down for disinfecting.
Dental Pulp Vitality Tester Denjoy DY310 is intended to be used as a diagnostic instrument to assist in the determination of the vitality of the dental pulp. When the start button is pressed, the device's microprocessor produces a gentle, pulsed waveform that automatically increases in strength, repeating several times per second. This progressive stimulus produces a pulpal response well below the patient's pain threshold. The result is an accurate reading you can rely on, while keeping the patient comfortable.
The Denjoy DY310 is powered by a standard, 9-Volt Alkaline battery that may be easily replaced right in the dental office.
This device is contraindicated for use on a patient or by an operator wearing a cardiac pacemaker or any other intra-corporeal electronic device (internal defibrillator, insulin pump, etc.), or any personal electronic monitoring device.
